The Guessing Game is a supergroup of sorts, comprised of musicians who’ve played with bands like Duff McKagan’s Loaded, Peter Frampton, Pearl Jam, Star Anna, Satchel, Villains of Yesterday and more. They checked into the Motel and unpacked bags full of aesthetic concepts from all of those bands. After hearing their rough mixes, we felt that their sound required a more mature, Americana look. We traded in their crow in a pope’s hat concept for a more serious biblical appearance.
